PROJECT OVERVIEW

Project by ALD Associates – Partnership between JFA Architects in conjunction with Pete Louw and Dave Dewar – Architects and Urban Designers in Cape Town, South Africa

Urban proposal on the enhancement of the spatial quality of Port Louis with the objective of improving the link between the two major natural elements of the site – the Sea and the Mountain. Analysing vehicular and pedestrian traffic, urban structural grids and making recommendations for the future whilst protecting and promoting the historic, cultural and architectural heritage of the capital city.
